Well; Emilia is now walking...at least she's taken her first step anyway. Aunty Caroline was very impressed to be here to witness it. We had a rainy long weekend for Auckland anniversary day but not before a few hot and humid summer days perfect for eating watermelon on the deck with no shirt. Or eating strawberries picked straight off the plant in the garden. The first cherry tomatoes are just ripening up to provide a firm reminder why it's worth growing them at home; SOOOOOOO nice! The swan plants are peaking too with the first caterpillars just about to hatch into butterflies.Now hopefully the sunny days hang on until the weekend so we can get some camping practice in before splore.
