We organized him a surprise Bday a day earlier - We sent him to his favorite record shop and then he got to do some shopping all by himself - he doesn't get much time like that... not often enough anyway... - then Uncle Gareth went to surprise him at the shop and took him skating with him, Aiti had hidden a bag and his skateboard to the boot of our car earlier so he had all the stuff with him :) After skating Daddy was taken to the Auckland Art Gallery, where he met Aunty Caroline, they saw some art together like in the old days. Then it was Uncle Dan's turn to take Daddy to see the movie called BOY, they both really liked it! Caroline came to pick us up and we all went to this very nice Indian restaurant called Satya - Daddy was very surprised to see us all there, we had a super nice dinner together and Kasper and Emilia were both behaving very very well! Daddy doesn't normally like surprises at all - since he kinda wants to know what's happening - but he did enjoy his day lots, at least that's what he said.
Thank you So much Nana, Pabba and Sami for the great dinner!!! Daddy was very happy about that surprise too!
On Daddy's actual birthday we went to Piha beach to have some fish and ships and to watch the sunset, we actually ended up going there too early, so no sunset, but we had a great day playing in the warm sand and spending a day together.
We miss Nana and Pabba and Anni soooo much, Aiti is all lost without them and doesn't know what to do now, hopefully she will figure that out soon...
We might have to start doing Lotto again, then we could go and visit all our family and friends in Australia before having a long holiday in Finland.... oh well, 18 months until we fly to Sami and Anna's wedding, at least that something to be waiting for...
