A day in the life...

Sheesh! It's been ages since we posted anything; so here's a few pics from an average weekday in our life. These aren't all taken on the same day but well they could have been.

Puuro. We always start the day with porridge. Plain for Emi, blueberries and milk for K, maple syrup and milk for Daddy.

Lego and jigsaw puzzles and are always a feature.

Suited and booted and ready for the walk to Marakatti; the family cafe we go to every Tuesday and Thursday. It's a bit like a playcentre or kindy where you can hang out, play eat lunch and there's different activities and loads of toys.

Checking out street art on the way...gangsta pineapples?

This is the giant totem pole outside Marakatti which is housed in a cool old maternity hospital building..

This is 4 month Erin and Kasper hanging out.  Kasper likes babies.

Today's activity was painting to music.

Emi favoured black for most of her first painting.

The parking lot was full by the time we left.

Getting in an autumn mood. That's our family car in the background.

This is a forest on Ruissalo, an island about 10 minutes ride from our house. Good for picking blueberries or just hanging out in the forest.

All wrapped up for the cold. It was 4c this morning...but Dad did get a bit carried away and used about 2 layers too many. We were warm though.

Dinner! Homemade wedges, burgers and buns. Yum!
