It's getting colder and colder every week, hopefully it will stay this way for a while; minus degrees that is, since we have finally got enough snow to start practising what to do in pulkkamäki! That is sledging down the hill, and we all LOVE it! Kasper said that his favourite season is now winter since he loves snow so much, great! Today Emi and K walked all the way up the hill and pulled their pulkka and Stiga up all by themselves, which makes life so much easier for Pabba,Daddy and Äiti. Daddy wishes now that he would have his own Stiga and Äiti is loving going down the hill with Emi, even though she has pointed out a few times now that she doesn't need any help anymore :) Pabba has been taking us to this great hill near their house, and today Nana came along too, it's fantastic to see them having such a great time with K and Emi.

Last night our friends Minna, Jason and Jericho came to visit and Daddy made a Kiwi meat pie, there were a few really happy looking Kiwi's doing high fives in our kitchen!
Tomorrow will be quite a big day for all of us, kids are starting kindy and Daddy is starting his school. We have been practising the kindy now for a few weeks and kids are loving it and even eating the hot lunches, most of the days that is. The kindy is 10min walk from us and the teachers are great and kids have already made some friends, so fingers crossed that everything goes well these following weeks. I am sure they will talk fluent Finnish in no time, Emi has already mastered lots of words including asking Nana to go shopping with her and Kasper is translating conversations for Daddy, who needs still a little help : ) but hey, not for long and he will be semi fluent as well.
That' s all for now, it was great doing the blog after so long, hopefully you all will get a chance to go sledging one day, it's such a great, fun, joyable thing to do and it brings your inner child straight out! Happy week everyone! - Äiti
