What an AWESOME Christmas!

Hope everyone had an epic Christmas. I know we did. We went away to a huge house with a whole crew of family, 18 stayed with a few visitors. It was Pabba's 60th birthday on the 23rd so we had a huge Finnish fishy feed to honour him. Then a full double ham Finnish Xmas feed on the 24th with a visit from Joulupukki. Then a full English Turkey and pudding feast on the 25th with stockings filled by Santa waiting under the tree when we woke up. All that and hanging out with cousins, uncles, aunties, Nana, Pabba, Mummis (Great grand mums) and godparents along with some snow! It's no wonder the kids didn't want to leave.

Yah! We're here!

The view over the fields on Christmas eve morning as the sun came up 9:30ish.

Finally some snow!

K and Emi loved playing in the snow on the first afternoon. There was lots of cooking going on and a playhouse to inspect.

Emi proudly decorating the tree...before Kasper; or was it Lightening McQueen, knocked it over.

Making Karjalanpiirakka with Aunty Lotta. This was a team affair with everyone making one under the watchful eye of Aino Mummi.

This is how the experts do it.

K filling his Pastie supervised by Aunty Lotta looking very demure in a Nana apron.

Emi really really loved the karaoke game on Wii. Her duet with Lotta had everyone in stitches.

Joulupukki and Emi having a very deep discussion. Emi was very confident with him. At one point pre presents she took him by the hand and lead him out of the room to walk outside...not sure where they were off to.
