Farewell Summer

No particular autumn theme to these pics but there was a definite chill in the air over the weekend; a hint of things to come. On the plus side it means the mushrooms and lingonberries are really kicking in now. It's been a nice few weeks with visits to and from Aino Mummi who came to Naantali to live it up for a week in the spa. We had lots to eat at a huge buffet lunch at the spa. Daddy and Pabba have been out to the forest lots lately stocking up the larder for winter with puolukka (lingonberries) and mushrooms (Mustatorvisieni, kantarelli, suppilovahvero and vaaleaorakas). Kasper has been coming along too and we even got to see our first poisonous snake this week too! Kasper was very scared...Daddy was very excited.

Anyhow here's some random pics from the past week or so.

 ...pose...

...and pose.

Kasper rode his bike all the way from our place to Nana and Pabba's today. About 5 k's maybe...definitley his longest ride yet. It's a very picturesque ride though...here we are at the Turku Catherdral square.

Riding alongside the River Aura near the library.

Posing with snack mid ride.

Cuddles with Aino Mummi after  songs and stories.

Pabba found this awesome velociraptor model for a bargain 5 euros at the flea market. We had a great time building it together...and even Aiti is stoked with how stylish it looks.
